家があったであろう場所には雑草が生い茂り、土地を囲むようにブロック塀とインターホンだけが残されていた。
普段なら絶対そんなことしないが、ふざけてインターホンを押した。
当然返答はなかったが、なぜか悪寒がしたので足早にその場を去った。
その数ヶ月後、別件で母が霊能者を紹介され、みてもらった。
母は遺産相続のことで兄弟と揉めていて、その相談をしたが、
その話をすると霊能者の人が「え、それのことじゃないんですか？」と母の後ろを指さしたそう。
母にべったりと真っ黒焦げのお婆さんが覆い被さっていたという。
その話を母から聞き、霊はどこからついてきたのだろうと話していて、ふと嫌な予感がした。
例の空き地を調べると、数年前に老夫婦が火事で亡くなっていた。
ふとイタズラを思いついたり、普段しないような行動をする時は、
もしかしたらすでに霊に取り憑かれているのでは？と思った。
